Also better known as the antlers of (different types of) deer. But a loose antler or a shed antler does not mean that the animal has died.
Every spring, the skin starts to itch around the antlers of the deer, causing them to scratch. Scratching is done by rubbing their heads against the trees.
The blood circulation in the antlers then stops so the antlers become numb and die off. The antlers then fall off and in the summer stronger and larger new antlers have grown back.
In many cultures it is therefore seen as the cycle of nature. The downfall (the shedding) and the resurrection (the stronger and larger growth of the antlers).
The antlers of the deer are symbolic antennas which are connected to the higher dimensions and thus can receive downloads of information.
